Opener Sharma relishes Australia challenge
Sky Sports Cricket, 9am Thursday
Australia made a perfect start to their one-day series in India, reducing the hosts to 11-3 and dismissing home skipper Virat Kohli for a duck in the first ODI in Chennai.
However, India rallied impressively to pull off a 26-run win on the Duckworth-Lewis method and they are 8-13 for victory in the second match in Kolkata.
Rain is once again likely to be a factor as the teams were unable to train at Eden Gardens on Wednesday and thunderstorms are forecast for the day of the match.
It's not a fixture for chunky bets but opener Rohit Sharma ticks plenty of boxes in the top India runscorer market.
Sharma has scored five centuries (and a 99) in his last 13 one-day innings against the Aussies, including 209 in Bangalore in 2013 and 171 not out in Perth last year.
He has made three hundreds and three fifties in 11 ODIs in 2017 and it is impossible to quibble with his course form - in Sharma's only one-day international at Eden Gardens he produced an astonishing world-record innings of 264 against Sri Lanka.
