Here's our verdict on Week Six of the NFL

Winners

1 Lamar Jackson

The Baltimore quarterback was on fire against AFC North rivals Cincinnati with 236 passing yards and 152 yards on the ground, including a rushing touchdown in a 23-17 win.

The Bengals are still looking for their first win and with Cleveland and Pittsburgh taking this week off, the Ravens can establish a three-game divisional lead with a win at Seattle on Sunday night, which would give their playoff chances a big boost.

2 San Francisco 49ers

Four opening Niners successes were not earth-shattering mainly because of the opposition - Tampa Bay and Cincinnati have struggled while Pittsburgh and Cleveland have had problems fulfilling their potential.

However, a 20-7 win over NFC West rivals the Los Angeles Rams should make everyone sit up and listen as the division is turning into one of this season's most intriguing.

The 49ers are average 29.4 points per game - the third-best mark in the league - and second in points allowed (12.8), so maybe they are the real deal.

3 Houston Texans' offensive line

Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson is a potential match-winner who needs great protection and the O-line stepped right up in their win over Kansas City.

That's two successive weeks that he hasn't been sacked and the Chiefs defence represented a tough test that was contained.

The AFC South is always a competitive division and their performance on that side of the ball should give the Texans heart as they head into this week's key clash in Indianapolis.

Losers

1 Jameis Winston

Oh dear. Five interceptions and a lost fumble for the Tampa Bay QB in the Buccaneers' 37-26 defeat to Carolina in the second NFL game at Tottenham.

He was the number one draft pick in 2015 but after 86 picks, that seems a long, long time ago.

Coach Bruce Arians says he won't be benching him, but it's a bye week so there's plenty of time for a change of heart.

2 Will Dissly

Seattle's season looks in excellent shape and Russell Wilson looks a decent call to be this season's MVP, but the Seahawks received a blow in their win over Cleveland when tight end Dissly was ruled out for the campaign with an Achilles injury.

He had led the Seahawks with four touchdown receptions in the first five weeks of the campaign and it is the second season he has failed to stay the course, having seen his campaign in Week Four last year.

3 Marcus Mariota

The Titans quarterback was pulled out of the action in the third quarter of their 16-0 defeat to Denver, but he may point to the fact he has been sacked 25 times in six matches. That can hardly boost his confidence.

Replacement Ryan Tannehill, formerly of Miami, suffered four sacks himself and while Vrabel says he doesn't want the position to be a "revolving door" they need to get their act together - coaches, quarterbacks and the offensive line.

0-16 watch

It all got off to a great start for Cincinnati when Brandon Wilson scored a 92-yard kick-off return against Baltimore but the Bengals have lost their opening six games after a 23-17 defeat to the Ravens. Allowing their opponents to score in each of their first three possession didn't help.

And we are down to two winless teams after the New York Jets broke their duck by beating Dallas and Washington inflicted a fifth straight defeat on Miami when a last-gaps two-point conversion would have ensure the Dolphins' first success.
