Denver Broncos at Jacksonville Jaguars

The NFL closes the curtain on this year's London series with a game where touchdowns could be hard to come by, emphasising the importance of having a good kicker.

The Broncos have just such a talent on their roster in Brandon McManus, who has kicked 15 field goals this season, tied for third-highest in the league.

McManus kicking field goals has become a necessity for a Denver offence unable to finish drives and they are likely to lean heavily on his leg once more.

No team is averaging more field goal attempts than the Broncos this year at 2.7 per game and McManus only needs to make two FGs and kick an extra point in calm conditions for this prop to cash.

Chicago Bears at Dallas Cowboys

The Chicago Bears stunned the New England Patriots on Monday night but bookmakers don’t like their chances of backing up that success in Dallas, making them double-digit underdogs.

A big reason for the lopsided line is the matchup between the Bears offensive line, which ranks as one of the worst in the league at protecting the quarterback, and Dallas's elite pass rush.

Chicago were averaging fewer than 16 points per game before the win in New England and some regression is likely against a Dallas defence which recorded five turnovers in the second half alone of their win over the Detroit Lions.

The Cowboys needed those turnovers having stuttered on offence for the majority of the game in quarterback Dak Prescott’s return from injury.

With Prescott a little rusty and the Bears' defence their strongest unit, Dallas could struggle to improve on their seasonal average of 19.1 points per game, making the under a nice play.

New York Giants at Seattle Seahawks

There’s only one game in Week Eight featuring two teams with winning records and it takes place in Seattle, where the two surprise packages in the NFC square off.

The Seahawks are 4-3 after blowing out the LA Chargers last Sunday with another fast start setting the stage for a 37-23 win.

Seattle are 6-1 against the spread in the first half this season, averaging over 16 points per half through seven weeks, and can take the early advantage against the Giants.

New York have overcome slow starts all season, trailing in all seven of their games but coming back to win six of them.

On the road for the second game in a row, expect another sluggish opening from Big Blue, who have averaged 7.5 points in the first half of away games this season.

Washington Commanders at Indianapolis Colts

It’s all change at quarterback for both these sides with the Colts benching Matt Ryan a week after Washington were conveniently able to drop underperforming Carson Wentz due to a fractured finger.

That sets the stage for Sam Ehlinger to make his NFL debut for Indy, a huge gamble by a side which is still in the playoff hunt at 3-3-1 but must now rely on a 24-year-old who has never thrown a pass in the NFL before.

In contrast, Washington’s new quarterback Taylor Heinicke has plenty of NFL snaps under his belt and arrives in Indianapolis having just led the Commanders to victory over the Green Bay Packers.

This game sets up well for Washington, who have the fourth-ranked run defence for a meeting with a Colts side likely to lean heavily on their rushing attack given Ehlinger’s inexperience.
