Game preview
Oakland return to action following a bye week and should be fresh to keep pace with Green Bay when the sides clash at Lambeau Field.
Despite a chaotic pre-season that resulted in the release of wide receiver Antonio Brown, the Raiders have been solid and are just one win behind Kansas City in the AFC West.
Their schedule has not been the easiest and securing victories over Indianapolis and then Chicago in London is a huge compliment to Jon Gruden’s side.
That Bears win showcased not only Oakland’s strength against the run - they held Chicago to a total of 42 rushing yards - but also the potential of rookie running back Josh Jacobs, who ran for 123 yards and scored two touchdowns.
Tight end Darren Waller has been another vital cog in their offence, and his hard work this year was rewarded when his contract was extended until 2023 earlier this week.
Green Bay secured a controversial 23-22 win over Detroit on Monday, aided by two questionable decisions from the officials, and look more vulnerable than their 5-1 record suggests.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been short of options with wide receiver Davante Adams nursing a toe injury, and other targets Geronimo Allison and Jimmy Graham could be joining him on the sideline.
Defensively they have looked a much better unit, but they have given up seven rushing touchdowns and could be tested if Jacobs performs anywhere near the way he did against Chicago.
This could be much tighter than expected and backing Oakland with the points looks the way to go.
