NFL Week Five accumulator tips: Check out our fourfold that pays over 8-1

The first month of the NFL season has gone by in a flash as we get set for the Sunday slate of Week Five action with 14 more games on the menu.

Chris Rivers has cast his eye over the fixture list and put together a fourfold NFL accumulator, which pays out at over 8-1 with Betfair.

Carolina Panthers -3 v Philadelphia Eagles
Minnesota Vikings -7.5 v Detroit Lions
Tampa Bay Buccaneers -6.5 v Miami Dolphins
Chicago Bears +6.5 v Las Vegas Raiders

Philadelphia Eagles at Carolina Panthers

The Panthers lost for the first time this season at Dallas last week but they could have their spirits lifted by the potential return of star running back Christian McCaffrey for the visit of a leaky Philadelphia side.

The Eagles have conceded 83 points in their recent defeats to Dallas and Kansas City as they struggle to cope with injuries on both sides of the ball.

Carolina have covered the handicap in five of their last seven matches and a three-point handicap buffer may not be enough for the Eagles to stay competitive.

Detroit Lions at Minnesota Vikings

Minnesota Vikings are taken to bounce back from a hard-fought loss to Cleveland when they host NFC North rivals Detroit in a must-win game.

The Vikings are 2-0 against the handicap coming off a loss this season, while head coach Mike Zimmer has a good history of getting a response from his team, going 32-15 against the spread after a defeat.

Detroit have been competitive this year but failed to cover against a mediocre Chicago Bears team last week. They have major injury concerns on the offensive line and should struggle to point up points.

Miami Dolphins at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tom Brady’s return to New England resulted in an ugly win for Tampa Bay as they battled against the weather and a pumped-up Patriots. The visit of Miami looks a far more straightforward assignment and should see Brady return to his best form.

The defending champions covered a much bigger handicap at home to Atlanta earlier in the season and can cover against a Miami team who lost by a double-digit margin to a poor Indianapolis Colts side in Week Four.

Chicago Bears at Las Vegas Raiders

The Bears could finally be moving in the right direction after naming Justin Fields as their starting quarterback after the first-round draft pick lead them to victory over Detroit.

Tactical and personnel changes in that game paid dividends for the Bears and they can trouble a Raiders side who have failed to cover the handicap in seven of their last 10 games.

Las Vegas have major issues when it comes to their offensive line and stopping the run - two areas the Bears can take advantage of to keep the hosts in check.
