Arizona Cardinals at Jacksonville Jaguars

6pm Sunday

Few gave the Arizona Cardinals a chance of competing in the stacked NFC West but they have proved they can more than hold their own by starting the season 2-0. The strength of this Cards team has been the offence, lead by the elusive Kyler Murray, which has put up at least 30 points in their first two games.

Jacksonville can only dream of scoring that many points and rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence has endured a tough introduction to life in the NFL.

The number one draft pick has thrown five interceptions already and ranks as the 25th best quarterback in the league. Lawrence isn’t the only one struggling in head coach Urban Meyer’s system, which has proved ineffective, and they face being brushed aside by Arizona.

New York Jets at Denver Broncos

Sunday 9.05pm

Denver’s defence has been as good as advertised, ranking in the top five against both the pass and the run. The 2-0 Broncos have held their first two opponents to 13 points each, while the offence has proved efficient under Teddy Bridgewater.

Jets rookie quarterback Zach Wilson is finding the going tough behind a terrible offensive line and threw four interceptions in last week’s loss to the New England Patriots. It’s a struggle to see how they’ll put points on the board against a smothering Denver defence and the total should go under for the third week in a row for both teams.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Los Angeles Rams

Sky Sports NFL, Sunday 9.25pm

Cooper Kupp has been the star of the LA Rams offence in the first two weeks but he’s certainly not the only weapon on this team capable of hurting Tampa Bay.

Robert Woods made up for a below-par Week One showing with a quietly efficient game in the win in Indianapolis, finishing with just two fewer targets than star of the show Kupp.

It could be Woods’s turn in the spotlight this Sunday as he shines when the Buccaneers are on the schedule. He finished with 130 yards and a TD in a 27-24 win over Tampa last year, while he had 164 receiving yards against the same opponent 12 months earlier. The Bucs have given up the third-most passing yards in the league this year so expect Woods to go off.

Green Bay Packers @ San Francisco 49ers

Sky Sports NFL, 1.20am Monday

Deebo Samuel is keeping rarefied 49ers company after two weeks of the new season. Samuel has 282 receiving yards through two weeks, the most by a Niner since the great Jerry Rice in 1989.

Samuel leads the league in receiving yards and yards after the catch entering Week Three and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo’s favourite target is likely to see a lot of the ball in Sunday’s marquee match up with Green Bay. San Francisco could be forced to throw the ball more due to injuries to their running backs and Samuel can make light work of a Packers defence that ranks 26th against the pass in DVOA.
