Green Bay Packers at New Orleans Saints

Green Bay went 13-3 and had the top scoring offence in the league last year, thanks in large part to the form of Aaron Rodgers. The Packers quarterback scooped the MVP prize after throwing 48 touchdowns, three of which came against New Orleans.

Green Bay beat the Saints 37-30 on that occasion and while the Packers have retained the majority of their key pieces, the Saints are weaker and will struggle to keep pace.

Seattle Seahawks at Indianapolis Colts

6pm Sunday

Seattle got off to a hot start last season and can repeat that trick in 2021 against a Colts side who have failed to cover the handicap in seven of their last nine week one games.

New Indianapolis quarterback Carson Wentz has barely practised this summer after foot surgery and the Colts have concerns elsewhere. That makes it much easier to trust Seahawks QB Russell Wilson to get cooking once again.

Arizona Cardinals at Tennessee Titans

6pm Sunday

Total points went over in 12 of Tennessee’s 17 games last season thanks to their great offence and bad defence. That offence has only improved with the addition of Julio Jones, while the defence remains an unknown quantity.

Arizona has an array of attacking weapons too and if the Titans defence isn’t on point, they can help keep the scoreboard ticking over.

Cleveland Browns at Kansas City Chiefs

Sky Sports Main Event, 9.25pm Sunday

Injuries and frequent bad-weather games hindered Austin Hooper’s first season in Cleveland but he finished 2020 strongly with four touchdowns in his last seven games.

He goes up against a Kansas City defence which ranked 31st against tight ends last year and Hooper appeals to find the end zone.
