NFL Draft predictions

The NFL teams take their pick of the top college players in the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay, starting with the first round on Thursday night, and while there is no mystery about the first pick, things could get interesting after that.

With no pre-draft trades this year, every team still have their own original first-round pick, and the Tennessee Titans have their choice of the entire draft class after finishing with the worst record in the league last season.

Their struggles were partly down to not having a top-level quarterback after using an uninspiring combination of Will Levis and Mason Rudolph last season and they are 1-200 to try to remedy that by selecting Miami quarterback Cam Ward, the consensus top passer available this season.

The market is confident that the Cleveland Browns will take wildcard Travis Hunter, who is considered both the top wide receiver and the best cornerback available and wants to play both positions in the NFL, with the second pick, making him 1-9 to head to Ohio, while pass-rusher Abdul Carter is 1-6 to be the third pick, which belongs to the New York Giants.

An early trade from teams moving up to secure Hunter or Carter could throw out all the early expectations, though, and the lack of pre-draft trades could lead to more movement on the first night.

Defensive tackle Mason Graham's destination is interesting and there could be some value in backing him at 6-1 to be the sixth overall pick. Rated a top-three talent by some experts, Graham could slip out of the top five after reports that the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have a new offensive-minded head coach in Liam Coen, are sweet on top running back Ashton Jeanty.

He may not fall further than sixth, though, as the Raiders have that pick and he should be the best available player at that point. Raiders part-owner Tom Brady played for Michigan and will know all about the ability of another former Wolverine.

After Ward, it's considered a weak quarterback draft but teams will always be tempted by potentially upgrading at the most important position in the game and over 2.5 QBs could still be taken in the first round.

Shedeur Sanders - Hunter's teammate at Colorado - has divided opinions after once being considered a likely top-five pick but should still be a first-rounder with the Steelers and Saints among possible landing spots. Jaxson Dart and 25-year-old Tyler Shough are other passers who could see interest on the first day, even if it's late on as teams from the top of the second round trade back in.

Jalen Milroe is a raw QB prospect but his incredible physical skills are hard for GMs to ignore. His lack of passing polish could make it difficult for most teams to take a risk in the first round but the Browns, who have the first pick in the second round, are worth backing to be the team that takes the gamble. Milroe worked with new Browns offensive coordinator Tommy Rees at Alabama and the Browns have signed two veteran QBs in Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett, enabling them to take their time with Milroe's development.
