LA Rams at Seattle Seahawks NFL Bet Builder tips
Seattle Seahawks to win
Since losing 21-19 to the Rams in Week 11, the Seahawks have responded with wins over the Tennessee Titans, Minnesota Vikings, Atlanta Falcons and Indianapolis Colts, and they look worth backing to gain revenge on Thursday evening.
While the result suggests otherwise, the Seahawks outplayed the Rams at SoFi Stadium, and would've won the game had quarterback Sam Darnold not had thrown four interceptions – outside of that contest, he has only had seven turnovers all season.
If Darnold can produce a more polished performance and the Seahawks' defence can continue to shine, that should be enough to get the hosts over the line in front of a raucous Lumen Field crowd.
Matthew Stafford (LA Rams) under 233.5 passing yards
Matthew Stafford's worst passing performance of the season came against the Seahawks in mid-November as the Rams quarterback had just 15 completions for 130 yards.
The Rams are likely to be without star receiver Davante Adams, which puts a lot of pressure on Stafford as well as his top target Puka Nacua, who will be heavily policed by a defence which has given up a league-lowest six yards per play through the air this season.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba (Seahawks) over 6.5 total receptions
Seattle quarterback Darnold will be throwing to the NFL's leading receiver in Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who should be heavily targeted just as he was when hauling in nine catches from 12 targets in the Week 11 meeting between these teams.
JSN has had seven or more receptions in eight of the Seahawks' last ten games, while only Arizona's Trey McBride, Nacua and Cincinnati's Ja'Marr Chase have had more receptions over the course of this season.
