Los Angeles Rams at Philadelphia Eagles preview 

The Eagles came out on top by 28-22 when they hosted the Rams in the divisional round of last season's playoffs and the visitors can at least run them close again when they return on Sunday.

That game went down to the wire and the current version of the Eagles does not yet look up to the standard of last year's successful team despite their 2-0 record. Drops by CeeDee Lamb of the Cowboys helped Philly to make a winning start, while a blunder from Travis Kelce was a turning point that enabled them to win their Super Bowl rematch against the Chiefs in Kansas City last week.

The Eagles defence does not seem as formidable as last season, while their offence has not been as dynamic as usual either. The Rams have a solid defensive front and could cause problems for the home team's offensive line.

The Rams’ passing game is finding its stride with veteran QB Matthew Stafford seeking out wide receivers Puka Nacua and Davante Adams and it's worth noting that Rams head coach Sean McVay has an 18-11-2 record against the handicap when his teams have been underdogs of more than a field goal. The Rams have the talent to push the Eagles all the way and could even pull off the upset.
