Chiefs and Steelers can serve up a high-scoring spectacular
Kansas City should put squeeze on Pittsburgh at Heinz Field
Sky Sports Action, 6pm Sunday
Kansas City's trip to Pittsburgh has attracted the highest total-points quote of Week Two but it looks fully merited.
The teams feature some of the NFL's most exciting offensive talents include Steelers receiver Antonio Brown and Chiefs speedster Tyreek Hill, while both defences have injury problems.
Pittsburgh are second only to New England in the AFC outright betting but their campaign got off to an inauspicious start when they became the first team for more than a year to fail to beat Cleveland.
The Browns, who went 0-16 last season, came back from a 21-7 deficit to tie with their AFC North rivals - both teams missed field goals to win the game in overtime.
The Steelers were playing without their star running back Le'Veon Bell, whose contract holdout has stretched into the regular season and shows no sign of ending soon.
But his absence can't be blamed for the result as stand-in James Conner made a name for himself, rushing for 135 yards and two touchdowns.
Six turnovers were a much bigger problem for the Steelers, who will need to make the most of their possessions given their defensive issues. Both starting cornerbacks have injuries with Joe Haden rated doubtful and Artie Burns picking up a toe problem on Friday.
The Chiefs were impressive in their opener, beating a well-fancied LA Chargers team 38-28 on the road - they led 31-12 after three quarters.
The concern for Kansas City this season was that they had been too hasty in dispensing with savvy quarterback Alex Smith to promote the raw Patrick Mahomes, but he looked a more mature performer in LA and made the most of the offensive weapons available.
Running back Kareem Hunt was their big breakout performer last season and wide receiver Hill continues to hit new heights. Against the Chargers he had a 91-yard punt return TD and a 58-yard TD reception in the first quarter.
Relentless rain in Cleveland made passing tough but there will be no problems at Heinz Field and both teams should keep the ball moving and get to the end zone.
It's also worth taking the hefty handicap start available for the Chiefs, who should made a considerable contribution to the total score.
