Atlanta Falcons vs Indianapolis Colts preview 

The NFL's international fans have not been treated to a ton of touchdowns in this season's overseas games and that trend could continue when the Falcons take on the Colts in Germany on Sunday.

All five games played outside the US so far have finished with under 48.5 points and the record of previous games in Germany also points to a low score. 

The Dublin contest between the Steelers and Vikings managed 45 points but the three London games saw totals of 38, 24 and 42.

No team have yet scored more than 21 points in four NFL trips to Germany, which have ended with totals of 37, 35, 16 and 37.

The Colts made a flying start to the year but suffered their second defeat in a 27-20 road loss to the Steelers last week and the Falcons rank fourth for total defence and best of all against the pass. 

Six sacks of Patriots QB Drake Maye last week took their tally for the season to 22 and they pose a threat to Colts QB Daniel Jones, who threw three interceptions against Pittsburgh.

The Falcons have some exciting offensive players but they have lost three in a row and running back Bijan Robinson has been held to just 40, 25 and 46 rushing yards in those games. 

The Colts boosted their defence with a blockbuster trade for Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner this week and while their offence has led the way to some wide-margin wins this season, the result should be all that matters to them after last week's setback in Pittsburgh.
