New Zealand can dominate early Dunedin exchanges
Pakistan openers have struggled for form
Sky Sports Cricket, 10pm Friday
New Zealand lead the five-ODI series against Pakistan 2-0 after a couple of convincing victories in rain-affected matches and the Kiwis are 2-5 to win the third game.
The weather forecast is better for Dunedin and the home side's openers Martin Guptill and Colin Munro will be eager to take on Pakistan's bowlers once again.
The pair put on 83 in the first ODI and, while Munro got a duck in the second match, Guptill blasted an unbeaten 86. The tourists' first wicket has fallen at six and five in the first two games and the Black Caps' openers can cover a handicap of 4.5 runs.
New Zealand's next Test opponents are England in a two-match series starting in Auckland on March 22. Despite the 4-0 Ashes defeat, there are no wholesale changes to the England squad with James Vince and Mark Stoneman retaining their places.
Uncapped Lancashire batsman Liam Livingstone has been called up along with Ben Stokes and Mark Wood. Gary Ballance, Jake Ball and Tom Curran are the men to miss out.
