NBA Finals Game 2 predictions

Indiana Pacers struck first in the NBA Finals with a smash-and-grab win at the Paycom Center but Oklahoma City Thunder can respond in Game 2.

The Thunder haven’t lost twice in a row since March and in the playoffs they’ve put in a couple of dominant performances immediately after defeats. Oklahoma City claimed a blowout 43-point win over Denver Nuggets after losing game one and then won by 28 points in game seven after they were taken to a decider in that series.

The Thunder almost led from start to finish in game one against Indiana and led by 15 points at one stage in the fourth quarter, but the Pacers took the lead for the first time with the final play of the game to snatch an unlikely win. The Western Conference champions should put on a show as they look to tie the series before two games in Indianapolis and they can cover an 11-point handicap.

Luguentz Dort scored 15 points in game one and he’s scored at least 13 in each of his three games against the Pacers this season. The Oklahoma City guard should be able to surpass his line of 10.5 on Sunday.

Tyrese Haliburton averaged 9.2 assists per-game in the regular season and he’s slightly up on that in the post-season at 9.5. The Pacers point guard only had six in game one but could go higher on Sunday and at an odds-against price for over 8.5 assists he looks backable.
