Friday night's NBA Playoffs game three betting preview, tips and TV details
Portland Trail Blazers can keep tabs on Thunder in Oklahoma City
Portland Trail Blazers at Oklahoma City Thunder
2.30am Saturday night
The Trail Blazers did their job in Portland and having got Oklahoma City on the ropes they can land a few more bodyblows in Game Three.
Portland are 2-0 up after keeping a lid on Russell Westbrook so head to Oklahoma with spirits high.
This dust-up between the third and sixth seeds in the West was supposed to be close and it may well still be. We can certainly expect it to be close on this occasion with Portland the best bet to cover a 7.5-point spread.
Blazers point guard Damian Lillard turned in a masterclass defending against Westbrook in Game Two, which Portland won 114-94 from nine points down.
Lillard, not renowned for his defence, will have to repeat if Westbrook isn’t to dictate terms in front of his own adoring fans, but it looks entirely plausible.
Boston did the job at the Garden and take a 2-0 lead to Indiana (Sky Sports Arena & Mix, 1.30am) and Toronto are tied 1-1 going to Orlando, but feeling much better after their 111-82 success in Game Two.
Recommendation
Portland +7.5
1pt 10-11 general
