National League Saturday preview

Chesterfield and Fylde have both been disappointing this season but the hosts look a good price to get the better of their clash at the Proact Stadium.

The Spireites have won both matches since John Sheridan was sacked as manager and have crucially kept two clean sheets, having previously secured just one shutout in 12 games.

Fylde have not won any of their last seven matches and the departure of star striker Danny Rowe could have a knock-on effect for Jim Bentley’s side.

Boreham Wood and Barrow last lost a league game on October 26 but that run could come to an end for the table-topping visitors.

The Hertfordshire side made it five wins from their last seven games with an impressive victory at Solihull last week to climb to fifth and they have looked promising up top recently.

Barrow have been in immense form with 16 wins from their last 20 matches, but they have been made to work for the points in their last two away games and the trip to a Boreham Wood side full of confidence could prove a stumbling block for Ian Evatt’s team.

Notts County have won four of their last six and could add another victory when they take on struggling Dagenham & Redbridge.

After a promising start to the season the Daggers are now only outside the relegation zone on goal difference and without a win in their last nine, with six of those being defeats.

Dagenham have notched just twice in their last five games and could be frustrated by a County defence who have kept five clean sheets in their last eight matches.
