Slovenian Grand Prix: Speedway GP race betting preview, TV details and tips
Aussie ace Jason Doyle primed to go one better at the Matije Gubca Stadium
TV: BT Sport 1, 6pm Saturday
Jason Doyle, second in Slovenia last year, can go one better in race two of the Speedway GP season.
The 2017 world champion was pipped by Patryk Dudek at the Matije Gubca Stadium 12 months ago and looks real value at 10-1.
Doyle didn’t get off to the slickest start in the 2019 campaign, picking up just five points in Warsaw, and that will partly explain his price.
But the Aussie has since gone out and starred for Polish team Torun with 17-point and 15-point hauls from two meets and on Thursday night he scored 14 points for Rospiggarna in Sweden.
Dudek, last year’s winner and a four-heat winner in Warsaw two weeks ago when he finished third, has picked up a hip injury and looks to be struggling.
World champion Tai Woffinden and Bartosz Zmarzlik are disputing favouritism, though the Pole looks the faster of the two at the moment.
