Nico Rosberg pipped his Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton to pole position for the Japanese Grand Prix by just 0.013 seconds in a thrilling qualifying session this morning.

Rosberg leads Hamilton by 23 points in the drivers championship with five races remaining, including Japan, and is a top-price 4-9 to win his first title.
