British Grand Prix predictions
The weather is due to turn mild over British Grand Prix weekend, and while that won't be welcome news to all of the fans at Silverstone, it will certainly put a smile on the face of George Russell.
The Mercedes driver dominated the Canadian Grand Prix weekend last month, but the sweltering temperature in Austria last week put paid to his chances of a follow-up.
The car struggles to keep its tyres in competitive shape when the mercury rises, so the forecast 20C for Sunday at Silverstone is good news for the Silver Arrows.
McLaren have been top dogs this season with Oscar Piastri leading Lando Norris by 15 points but things look to be swinging in the Briton's favour.
Norris has won two of the last four Grands Prix, Piastri one of the last five, and Norris arrives fresh from fending off his teammate to seal victory in Austria.

The team have made changes to the suspension on Norris's car (Piastri declined the update) and he is much happier with the handling as a result. Bookmakers are struggling to separate the McLaren drivers at the head of the market.
Last year's Silverstone winner Lewis Hamilton is now with Ferrari, and after a difficult start to life with the Scuderia, he picked up his joint-best result of the season last time with fourth place.
That coincided with the team introducing a new floor design on the car, and on the limited evidence available it seems to have worked. Hamilton had also qualified fourth in Austria, one place behind his teammate Charles Leclerc, who claimed the final podium spot behind the McLarens at the Red Bull Ring.
World champion Max Verstappen chased home Hamilton last year at Silverstone. The Red Bull driver lasted only two corners in Austria last week before being taken out by Kimi Antonelli's Mercedes.
Verstappen's title defence is on its last legs heading to the halfway point of the season, but he can never be written off for a race victory, and is rated third-favourite for Sunday's race.
