MotoGP: Spanish Grand Prix news, odds and tip after Fabio Quartararo takes pole
Marc Marquez favourite in Jerez but Danilo Petrucci could impress
TV: BT Sport 1, 1pm Sunday
Variety has been the name of the game in the 2019 MotoGP season with three different race winners from three different teams - and on Saturday Fabio Quartararo became the third polesitter of the year and the youngest ever rider to start from the front of the grid.
The Frenchman, in only his fourth MotoGP weekend after finishing tenth in Moto2 last year, had been a 66-1 shot to be the fastest qualifier.
He is a 12-1 shot to convert it into a dream maiden victory, but that seems too much to ask given how closely matched the field looks this week.
Marc Marquez, whose record Quartararo broke, is the 8-13 favourite but he's only third on the grid as he also has the other Petronas Yamaha of Franco Morbidelli in front of him.
Series leader Andrea Dovizioso is a menacing fourth and a 6-1 chance, but the other Ducati of Danilo Petrucci could offer better value at more than twice the price.
The Italian has raised his game since moving to the team this season, opening with three sixth places that might have been even better, but the Jerez track suits him and he impressed there in winter testing.
Petrucci was fastest in the second and third practices and was showing up well again in qualifying before crashing on his final attempt.
He looks capable of making a nuisance of himself in the race and is worth backing with firms who offer three each-way places.
