Hearts are on a fabulous run of form and they can continue their upward spiral by winning against Motherwell at Tynecastle.

Craig Levein's side are unbeaten in the Ladbrokes Premiership since the start of November, with their miserliness at the back capturing headlines.

They've kept eight clean sheets in a row against opponents including CelticAberdeen and Hibernian (twice).

Last week's William Hill Scottish Cup derby win against their Edinburgh neighbours - their first win in ten games against Hibs - has given the whole club an enormous boost.

The Jambos have brought in Scotland international Steven Naismith and Demetri Mitchell from Manchester United, who both look quality additions.

Well struggled badly before the winter break and although they have returned with a league and a cup win, they are still a work in progress having brought in three new players this month. And, of course, they have lost ace striker Louis Moult.

Hearts are looking to close the gap with Hibs and Aberdeen and can continue their fine run of results.

Dundee can steal a win over Hamilton at New Douglas Park. The Dens Park side were turned over on their last visit to Accies but Martin Canning's side have been weakened in the transfer window.

They have lost exciting young midfielder Greg Docherty to Rangers and that's a big blow for them.

Hamilton have also been comfortably beaten in the two games after the winter break.

Dundee really should have had at least a point against Hibs in midweek, but their finishing let them down. If they can get on-loan Celtic midfielder Scott Allan back to the form he's capable of, they should be heading up the table.

Partick Thistle can take advantage of a St Johnstone side who have been in cold storage.

Saints have had two attempts at playing their William Hill Scottish Cup tie at Albion Rovers, but both were postponed, which meant they couldn't play in the league in midweek either.

They also have serious personnel problems with Murray Davidson, Paul Paton and Richard Foster all suspended.

In contrast, Thistle's lengthy injury list has finally cleared, they have some big players back and Bournemouth loanee Baily Cargill looks a good signing.

They've played twice since the winter break and ran Celtic close in midweek. They can kick on and win in Perth.
