Anyone who has backed qualifier Jurgen Zopp each-way at odds of up to 150-1 for the Swiss Open will have their fingers firmly crossed that the Estonian can continue his good work against Matteo Berrettini, but the Italian looks to hold the aces in their semi-final rumble in Gstaad.

This year has been terrific for Italian men's tennis, with Marco Cecchinato reaching the semi-finals of the French Open and Fabio Fognini continuing to shine when he's in the mood.

This week it may be Berrettini's turn. After ousting Radu Albot and seeds Andrey Rublev and Feliciano Lopez, the Roman has a golden chance to reach the final against Zopp, who has seen off two fellow qualifiers and Fognini, who may well have been jaded after his Swedish Open triumph last Sunday.

In the WTA Moscow River Cup Tamara Zidansek could have a tough time trying to stop semi-final opponent Anastasia Potapova, while in the ATP German Championship in Hamburg defending champ Leonardo Mayer faces qualifier Jozef Kovalik for a final berth.
