Mark Allen set for big break in final
Antrim ace could be too hot for Kyren Wilson
Final | BBC2 & Eurosport 2, 1pm
Mark Allen has defeated two of snooker's greatest in Ronnie O'Sullivan and John Higgins to book his place in the final of the Masters, and the Antrim Ace looks ready to add his name to the record books by landing his first triple crown event when he takes on Kyren Wilson.
It could be argued the Higgins and certainly O'Sullivan were not at their best against Allen, and while that may be the case, you can't argue with the quality of the Pistol's break-building this week.
Allen hit runs of 72, 86, 120 and 135 in the opening round against Luca Brecel and followed that with knocks of 65, 81, 85 and 115 against the Rocket in the quarter-finals.
The Northern Ireland potter made breaks of 63, 64, 65, 75 and 90 against Higgins in the semi-final and it's likely that Wilson will find that kind of one-visit snooker too hot to handle.
Allen can be backed at 4-7 to lift the Masters crown but perhaps the better bet is Betway's offer of 8-11 that the Antrim man hits the highest break.
