Men's quarter-final
Nadal v Cilic
Last year's beaten finalist Rafael Nadal overcame a gruelling battle with Diego Schwartzman in the last 16 and the Spaniard can expect another stern test from big-serving Croat Marin Cilic in a highly-anticipated quarter-final showdown.

The number one seed will be hoping he can go one better than 12 months ago and his recent record against his Croatian challenger is formidable.

Nadal has won their last five meetings, dropping just one set in the process, and bookmakers make him a 1-4 chance to conquer Cilic.

The Spaniard's victory over Schwartzman in the last round showed he's in good enough shape to resist a tight tussle but there were small signs of weakness and Cilic is classy enough to capitalise.

Nadal, who dropped his first set of the tournament, saved 15 break points as Schwartzman continually found a way to trouble his serve and there's every reason to suggest Cilic can cause similar problems.

The sixth seed was impressive in coming from a set down to outgun an improving Pablo Carreno Busta in the last round and, armed with a deadly serve, he can at least make Nadal work for a semi-final spot.

Women's quarter-final
Suarez Navarro v Wozniacki
Carla Suarez Navarro came back from the brink to defeat talented youngster Anett Kontaveit in the last round and the same battling qualities can see her keep tabs on Caroline Wozniacki.

The Spaniard was a set and 4-1 down but rallied to deliver the perfect comeback and there's plenty to like about the way she is going about her business.

Defeating Kontaveit was an impressive result, while earlier wins over Timea Babos and Kaia Kanepi show just how well she is performing.

Overhauling Wozniacki clearly requires more but Coral go 5-6 that she can stay within five games of the Dane and that looks the way to go.

Suarez Navarro boasts plenty of experience in Grand Slams and that could help her cause against Wozniacki, who should expect her toughest test yet.
