Lukaku could bounce back with a bang against Newcastle

Former Premier League star Michael Owen

What’s your best bet for the weekend?
I think Romelu Lukaku is a good thing to score for Manchester United against Newcastle in the game I’m covering for BT Sport.

He’s got a good record against the Magpies and while he has been going through a rough patch in terms of goals, scoring for Belgium will have done him the world of good.

Which favourites look the most vulnerable?
I can’t have Arsenal at all. Tottenham are better in virtually every position on the pitch and Alexis Sanchez is probably the only player who would get into the Spurs team. Tottenham look a great draw-no-bet option.

Will Arsenal or Tottenham finish higher in the table?
Tottenham. I can’t see much change from how the two teams finished last season.

I would be even more confident about Spurs if they were playing at White Hart Lane, but finishing second again is realistic.

Arsenal are the weakest of the big six and will struggle to make the Champions League.

Is David Moyes a good appointment for West Ham?
I understand why there are not joyous scenes around West Ham and while he has a few blots on his copybook since leaving Everton, he should get the Hammers organised.

He has a tough start at Watford but I think it can be described as a solid appointment.

Which players enhanced their claims for an England World Cup finals place last week?
After two 0-0s you have to look at the defence for candidates. John Stones has come on massively and now looks so comfortable. He’ll surely be England’s top centre-half.

Joe Gomez was excellent too and gives Gareth Southgate the flexibility to play three at the back.

Give us a Champions League winner for match day five
Manchester City have looked great and I fancy them to score plenty of goals against Feyenoord, so look to get with them on the handicaps.
