Love Island Daily: show fallout, market moves and betting odds

All the latest talking points from the villa

What's happening

On last night's episode the villa said goodbye to Marvin, as he was the unlucky one to miss out with none of the girls choosing to couple up with him.

The semi-professional footballer, who has previously played for Poole Town, made a late attempt to catch the eye of new-girl Francesca. But the Essex girl chose instead to couple up with Curtis, much to the chagrin of Maura.

It appears Curtis is a man in demand following his split with Amy, and despite being picked by Francesca it remains up in the air which of the ladies will succeed in winning the professional ballroom dancer's heart.

There were no other major surprises with the recouplings, as Amber opted for a friendship couple with Ovie, who continues to be hailed across social media for his impeccable one-liners and outrageous outfits.

Betting moves

As they continue to capture the hearts and minds of the British public, Tommy and Molly-Mae remain at the top of the market and are as short as 1-10 to claim the £50,000 jackpot.

However, Anton and Belle's odds have been trimmed after Belle's date with Chris only made her heart grow fonder for the Scottish gym owner.

Even just as friends, Ovie and Amber are 7-2 with Sky Bet for the without Tommy and Molly market, largely due to their likable natures, with Curtis and Maura still firmly backable at 6-1 even if they are not currently coupled up.

What might happen next?

All eyes are on the Curtis-Maura-Francesca love triangle, and although Francesca snagged Curtis in the recoupling it looks as though that victory is far from confirmed.

Curtis pulled Maura aside afterwards to reiterate his interest in her, and given the chemistry they have shown already that is likely to show further progression over the next couple of days.
