Love Island daily: Saturday preview, market moves and betting odds

All the latest news from the TV villa

What's happening?

Well, shut the front door! Just when it seemed Amber and Michael would be back on again, the Geordie nail technician only decided that should would rather scrum down with Limerick rugby player Greg.

That highlight of Friday's recoupling has thrown everything up in the air.

It was recognised as a brave decision and perhaps the right one - you can't just watch your squeeze leave the villa and then decide to get back with the girl you dumped in the first place, mate.

So, yeah, the girl probably did well. And the Scouse firefighter was left to put a brave face on it.

Ovie and India have hooked up and will have their followers and it will be interesting to see how Chris and Harley get on. His jokes are corny - he even served up the old fertilised-eggs-in-the-morning classic - but maybe he'll stop trying so hard.

And finally Curtis and Maura can sleep back inside now they've coupled up.

Betting moves

Not long ago, Molly-Mae and Tommy were on the bridle and it seemed as if it would be a non-event, but folks may just be falling out with them.

Sure, they are nice enough but we are not seeing much of them and after being 1-7 for glory a week ago, they are out to 8-11 with Betfred.

They need to find a second wind to get over the line, while it is difficult to see which couple will be their closest challengers.

The field can be backed at 11-10 with Hills.

What might happen next?

The biggest dilemma for punters is that if they don't fancy Tommy and Molly-Mae to go all the way - to win the £50,000, you filthy minded rotters - then who will be their most likely challengers?

Sky Bet have Amber and Greg at 13-2 but surely the public are not going to get behind someone who has rocked up with just over a week left in the show.

Curtis and Maura will be popular - memories of Amy's dumping are beginning to feel very distant - and while Ovie is popular, he's got himself acquainted with a recent arrival, India, so they may not be great value at 11-2. They are as short as 4-1.

Anton and Belle have the potential to explode and it would be no surprise if folks thought Anna and Jordan were just making up the numbers.

Voting has been open for the next eviction and we get to find out on Sunday night, so the best tactic may be to wait and see if Tommy and Molly-Mae's price heads out a bit more and then back them.

There's bound to be a bit of recency bias when the final votes are counted, but it may not be enough to stop them from winning. After all, they're highly inoffensive.
