Liverpool should dismiss Saints with the minimum of fuss
Southampton could be chasing the game quickly
Liverpool seem to be going from strength to strength and they should dispatch struggling Southampton with the minimum of fuss.
They were hugely impressive in the 3-2 success over Paris St-Germain and could revert to their first-choice front three against Saints with Roberto Firmino set to start.
Saints frittered away a two-goal lead in their 2-2 draw at home to Brighton on Monday but they could soon be chasing the game on Merseyside and their ability to respond is reduced with star striker Danny Ings unable to face his parent club.

Adam Lallana (groin) may return to the squad but Dejan Lovren and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are injured.
Danny Ings cannot face his parent club but Manolo Gabbiadini is available after injury.
Liverpool have led at half-time and full-time in all of their six matches this season.
