Leyton Orient can prove their strength when they host Ebbsfleet

John Still could earn first win at Barnet against inexperienced Braintree

Leyton Orient looked sharp in their season opener at title favourites Salford and could have too much quality for Ebbsfleet when the sides meet at Brisbane Road.

Orient responded positively to going a goal down in the second half and missed a number of chances before scrambling home a deserved late equaliser.

Ebbsfleet fell 1-0 to divisional new boys Chesterfield and were unfortunate to come away with nothing. While they are a side that can compete this season, Justin Edinburgh’s men should have enough to earn their first win of the season.

Barnet could only manage a goalless draw at Aldershot but can make amends when they host Braintree.

The Essex side struggled in their home defeat to Halifax and looked lost at times, lacking any rhythm or real cohesion going forward.

By comparison the Bees boast a squad with plenty of quality and a manager in John Still who is a seasoned veteran of the division, which should see them take advantage of Braintree’s inexperience.
