Leonardo Mayer can master his compatriot in Hamburg
Diego Schwartzman is a shaky favourite

The Hamburg clay tends to bring out the best in Leonardo Mayer and the defending champion can book his place in the last four of the ATP German Tennis Championships by silencing compatriot Diego Schwartzman.
The seasoned Argentinian has won just two career titles on the ATP Tour but both successes have come in Hamburg and the combination of his favourite surface and venue could help him bridge the gap to his classy countryman.
Schwartzmann endured a quiet time on the grass and the manner of his wins over Casper Ruud and home hope Daniel Masur in Hamburg this week suggest he has not yet hit peak form on the clay either.
Anastasija Sevastova and Aliaksandra Sasnovich could be tough to separate in Moscow.
