Match preview

These two powerhouses of the club game in the 1990s have fallen on hard times, and Leicester's fall has been more marked, to the point where they go off odds-against at Welford Road.

It's been a time of turmoil at the Tigers, who parted company with Geordan Murphy at the start of the season, but also a time of frustration with their internationals unavailable and their last scheduled Premiership game called off.

But this looks a good opportunity for Leicester to turn a corner and they are an attractive price to deny Bath.

The Tigers' sole win in the Premiership came in round one at home to Gloucester, the only side below them in the table. But once the Autumn Nations Cup was over, internationals Ben Youngs, George Ford and Nemani Nadolo were able to return for European Challenge Cup wins over Brive and Bayonne, while forwards Dan Cole and Ellis Genge are also back to face Bath.

Bath have won their last four meetings with Leicester and on their last three visits to Welford Road. But they have also won just one match this season and have been out of action since a home defeat to Scarlets in the Champions Cup three weeks ago.
