LeBron should help Cavs back on to their feet in Game Two
Golden State may face Cleveland backlash
Game Two
BT Sport 1, 1am Sunday night
Wounds have had to be licked in Cleveland after the Cavaliers were handed a 113-91 pasting by Golden State in Game One of the NBA finals.
A total of 20 turnovers goes a long way to explaining why the reigning champions have ground to make up against the team they beat 4-3 in last year’s series, but the Cavs have been here before and can bounce back.
Last year’s series began in similar fashion. The Warriors won the first two matches 104-89 and 110-77 still lost over seven outings and the Cavs’ star player LeBron James has won just one Game One in eight finals appearances.
Golden State are on a march having won their last 13 post-season matches with a double-digit winning margin in 11 of them.
However, the Cavs are unlikely to be as liberal with their distribution again and as they have failed to score more than 106 points in just four of their last 23 matches, they are taken to eclipse that total tonight.
