Formula One returns from its summer break with a power-packed double-header at two of the sport's iconic venues - Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium this week and Monza in Italy next weekend.

Horsepower is king at both circuits and Sebastian Vettel will be hoping to make the most of his Ferrari's grunt to eat into Lewis Hamilton's 24-point championship lead.

Ferrari began the season keeping their powder dry on Fridays but they seem to have abandoned that policy recently.

Vettel is tempting at 11-2 to go fastest in first practice, despite not having done so all year, but his teammate Kimi Raikkonen looks better value.

The Finn set the fastest Friday morning lap in Hungary last time and has won four times at Spa.

There is a mixed weather forecast and if it rains there may not be much track action at all on Friday, while cooler weather could help Mercedes negate any power advantage Ferrari have.

But at the prices a small bet on Raikkonen looks the way to go.
