Best Premier League bet

Fulham v Everton
Sky Sports Premier League & Main Event, 5.30pm Saturday

Fulham scored only 27 goals in their last Premier League campaign in 2020-21 but the impressive Cottagers have found the net 22 times in their first dozen league fixtures this term.

They should get chances to add to that tally at home to poor travellers Everton this weekend, although the Toffees claimed a morale-boosting 3-0 home win over Crystal Palace last time out.

Everton's attacking unit is far stronger with Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who opened the scoring against Palace, fit to lead the line again and over 2.5 goals looks a solid bet at Craven Cottage.

Fulham's entertaining start to the season continued with a 3-2 win at Leeds last weekend – their tenth straight league match featuring at least three goals.

Five of their last six rewarded backers of over 3.5 goals, with the exception being a 3-0 win over Aston Villa in their last home fixture, and goals may well flow by the Thames once again.

Best EFL bet

Burnley v Reading 3pm Saturday

Burnley and Reading have both recorded eight Championship victories this season but the match betting at Turf Moor suggests there is a gulf in quality between the teams.

Vincent Kompany's Clarets claimed a significant scalp in midweek, beating Norwich 1-0, and they are around the same price to win the title as Reading are to finish in the top half.

Burnley are unbeaten in 15 games in all competitions, winning four of their last five in the Championship and keeping clean sheets in three of those victories.

They restricted the Canaries to five attempts at goal on Tuesday and can rack up another win to nil against a Royals side who have lost five of their seven away matches including a 4-0 defeat at promotion hopefuls Sheffield United.

Best European bet

Torino v Milan BT Sport 1, 7.45pm Sunday

Milan boosted their chances of qualifying for the Champions League last 16 with a 4-0 win at Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday and the Italian champions should enjoy more success on the road at Torino.

The Rossoneri have been hampered by injuries this season but Scudetto-winning coach Stefano Pioli is still getting a lovely tune out of his side, who have won six of their last seven in Serie A.

That run includes victories over Inter and Juventus and the only blot on their recent league record was a 2-1 home defeat to a rampant Napoli side.

Milan face far less intimidating opponents on Sunday in the shape of Torino, who won 2-1 at Udinese last time out but had lost five of their previous seven Serie A matches.
