Jack Miller can make the most of soggy Silverstone conditions
Heavy rain expected in Northamptonshire
British Grand Prix
BT Sport 2, 11.30am Sunday
Jorge Lorenzo is the man on the move in the MotoGP championship and the Ducati rider claimed pole position for the British Grand Prix in mixed conditions at Silverstone.
The qualifying session was delayed after Tito Rabat had to be helicoptered to hospital after breaking his leg in a freak accident in final practice.
The weather is due to get even worse on race day and that could level the playing field.
Australian Jack Miller loves these conditions - he won in the wet in Holland two years ago - and after a bit of a lean spell the Ducati rider has been right on the pace this weekend.
He starts only seventh after a gamble on qualifying on slick tyres failed to pay off, but that's close enough for him to make an impression at the front.
Valentino Rossi was another to make poor strategic choices and the Doctor will be disappointed to start 12th after promising practice performances.
Rossi has a great record at Silverstone and could certainly make the podium but he is plenty short enough to do so.
Marc Marquez holds a huge 59-point lead in the championship but hasn't won either of the last two races as Ducati have been just too strong, and the Spaniard doesn't have the best record at Silverstone either.
