The Minnesota Vikings can win the NFC North with victory in this game and they have a golden opportunity against the Colts.

This has been a season to forget for Indianapolis, who were optimistic going into the season following the signing of quarterback Matt Ryan. But they hold a 4-8-1 record and are all but eliminated from the playoffs.

Interim head coach Jeff Saturday got off to a great start with victory over the Raiders, but the honeymoon period is over after three straight defeats including a 54-19 hammering last time against the Cowboys.

While the Vikings are considered lucky to have a 10-3 record, they have still beaten some good teams in recent weeks and boast more than enough talent to beat this woeful Colts team by more than four points.

Kirk Cousins threw for 425 yards and two touchdowns in last week’s loss to the Lions while wide receiver Justin Jefferson continues to make a case for being the best at his position in the league.

The Vikings defence has often been criticised but they did well two weeks ago to hold the Jets to just one touchdown, and should have no problem shutting down an Indy offence where quarterback Ryan looks a shadow of his former self.

The Vikings have won six of their seven home games this season and with the division title and confirmation of a place in the postseason on the line, expect Minnesota to be fired up to beat the Colts and make a statement.
