1 of 1

Naomi Osaka was cut to 40-1 from 50-1 to ditch her Grand Slam tag after crushing qualifier Julia Glushko 6-2 6-0 to progress to the last 32 in New York on day four.

The Indian Wells champion will next meet Aliaksandra Sasnovich, who upset 11th seed Daria Kasatkina 6-2 7-6.

Sasnovich, who defeated Belinda Bencic in round one, was cut to 150-1 to go all the way at Flushing Meadows.

Two-time Wimbledon heroine Petra Kvitova set up a clash with Aryna Sabalenka after seeing off Yafan Wang 7-5 6-3. Sabalenka had too much for former world number two Vera Zvonareva in a 6-3 7-6 triumph.
