Highfield may have to knuckle down to see off Keattikun
Promising Thai could keep it close against Swindon potter
Liam Highfield should be able to hold his own on the snooker tour and has a decent future if he continues to apply himself professionally, but the Swindon cueman could have a slightly tougher task in his Indian Open curtain-raiser than the oddsmakers believe.
Highfield opens against Boonyarit Keattikun, a Thai who has shown a fair degree of ability, and the clash could be closer than some layers expect.
Keattikun looks a little short to back at 8-15 with a start of 2.5 frames, but Hills' quote of 4-5 about the match lasting for more than five frames can be chanced.
Zhao Xintong at 6-10 with a start of 2.5 frames against John Higgins can be considered, as can the 10-11 about the match lasting for more than five frames.
However, taking on Higgins, one of the finest players in the history of the baize, can often be risky so prospective punters should tread carefully.
