Story so far
Three players are tied for the lead at a wide-open AT&T Byron Nelson at TPC Craig Ranch, McKinney, Texas.
Ryan Palmer (110-1 ante-post), David Skinns (500-1) and Sebastian Munoz (70-1) are setting the halfway pace at 15 under par through 36 holes.
Scottie Scheffler, the pre-tournament 10-1 favourite, is tied for 20th place, six shots behind. Justin Thomas is one shot better off.
Munoz is 9-2 favourite heading into the weekend. Scheffler, contesting favouritism with Jon Rahm for next week's US PGA, can be backed at 25-1 to overcome his Byron Nelson deficit.

Third-round preview
A calmer Saturday is forecast for McKinney - the breezes that have kept some sort of check on the scoring over the first two rounds are set to disappear - so somebody could go bananas on this easy layout.
Expect rounds in the low 60s. There is ten shots between those in first place and those in last - and a volatile leaderboard can be predicted. Ryan Palmer is the most appealing of the leading trio - he plays this track regularly and has carded some amazing numbers in practice there - but none of the pacesetters seem likely to distance themselves from the field.
It may be worth getting Beau Hossler onside in the outright market. The Texas-based 27-year-old typically carries a red-hot putter and looks a lively candidate for one of the Saturday sizzlers in the welcoming weather. From four shots back, Hossler can set up another opportunity for a PGA Tour breakthrough.
Third-round threeball punters are pointed towards Palmer, who probably deserves top billing in the final group (5.50pm UK and Ireland time) against Skinns and Munoz.
Lanto Griffin has hit a purple patch and can be fancied to defeat Peter Malnati and Matthias Schwab in the 4.30pm contest, while Davis Riley upped a gear on Friday and can be expected to produce another low one. Riley can see off Adam Scott and Tom Hoge (3.50pm).
