The first full-field LPGA Tour event takes place at Boca Raton in Florida this week and bookmakers fancy Nelly Korda to make up for last week's disappointment at the Tournament of Champions.

The world number one fired a final-round 75 on Sunday to finish tied for fourth and while her talent is undisputed, a single-figure price in this week's Gainbridge LPGA appears to offer limited value.

This is the third year of the tournament's existence and it returns to this week's 6,701-yard, par 72 venue after being hosted at Lake Nona last year, and that should be good news for last week's winner Danielle Kang.

She strung together a run of four birdies in five holes on the back nine on Sunday and that was enough to win by three shots and she was third when this venue was used last time, three behind Swedish winner Madelene Sagstrom.

That effort included a third-round 75 and there looks a decent chance that the 29-year-old, who won the 2017 Women's PGA Championship, can follow up, just as she did when winning the Drive On Championship and Marathon Classic in consecutive weeks in August 2020.

France's Celine Boutier was runner-up to Kang at the Drive On and she has carried her strong finish to last season into the new campaign.

Boutier had a 2021 to remember after winning her home Open and also the LPGA Classic in October, before finishing third in the Tour Championship, when she was unable to keep up her ferocious pace after carding two opening rounds of 65.

The 28-year-old hit the ground running with a decent fourth place last week and should be able to flourish on a track where she obtained a similar finish two years ago.
