Story so far
Three teams are tied atop the leaderboard at 19 under par with one round to go in the QBE Shootout at the Tiburon Club, Naples, Florida.

Charley Hoffman and Gary Woodland, Patton Kizzire and Brian Harman, and Graeme McDowell and Emiliano Grillo share pole position going into the Sunday betterball competition.

Both players in each pair will play their own ball for the final round, with the best score in each pair counting towards the score, so a birdie-fest is in store. A cloudy day with light breezes is forecast, with the threat of short afternoon thunderstorms.

Hoffman and Woodland are slight favourites ahead of McDowell and Grillo. Defending champions, Steve Stricker and Sean O'Hair, are four shots behind.

Final-day advice
The Tiburon Club will stage a shootout in every sense of the word on Sunday – several teams are gunning for the title from a packed leaderboard and only a barrage of birdies will get the job done.

The much-fancied duo of Cameron Champ and Kevin Kisner have badly flopped, the other well-backed pair of Billy Horschel and Brandt Snedeker have also left themselves a mountain to climb in round four, and bookmakers will just be hoping to get Bryson DeChambeau and Kevin Na beat to seal an excellent tournament for them.

DeChambeau and Na, the ante-post favourites at the start of the week, are only a shot behind and may land a blow for the punting community. DeChambeau is the highest ranked player in the competition and has gelled with Na surprisingly well.

Preference at the outright prices going into the final round, though, is for the combination of Patton Kizzire and Brian Harman. The tournament is arguably between the top five teams on the leaderboard and none of them putt better than Kizzire and Harman.

The Sea Island professionals are the strongest putting unit in the event. Neither came into the Shootout swinging well, but the format has allowed them to paper over the long-game cracks and claim a share of the lead going into the fourballs. With two balls in play for each team and a plethora of birdies assured, siding the best putters as 9-2 fourth-favourites from a share of the lead is a simple but sensible move.

Kizzire and Harman, and DeChambeau and Na could end up battling for the title over the closing holes. The final round starts at 2.35pm UK and Ireland time, with the final groups out at 3.50pm.

DeChambeau and Na look the best match option against Emiliano Grillo and Graeme McDowell in the 3.35pm contest.
