Tony Finau lays down marker for next year's Majors with fortnight of brilliance

Tony Finau romped to back-to-back PGA Tour success on Sunday, cruising to a five-shot Rocket Mortgage Classic triumph, following his three-shot victory in the 3M Open.

Finau was the 14-1 winner of the 3M Open and an easy 16-1 boost for his Rocket Mortgage Classic backers. The Utah giant has leapt to 13th in the world rankings and has been so impressive that his odds for next year's Majors deserve close inspection.

Finau has a solid record in Majors. The 32-year-old can boast ten top-tens in Majors, including third spot in the 2019 Open. He has notched a top-five in each of the four Majors.

Finau is a best-price 50-1 with Betfred for the Masters, which will probably be quickly snaffled. The same firm go 50-1 for the US PGA and the US Open, while Coral and Ladbrokes are biggest at 40-1 for the Open.

Sean Crocker was the 60-1 winner of the Hero Open on Sunday, while Henrik Stenson won on his LIV Golf debut in Bedminster. The Swede, no longer European Ryder Cup captain after his decision to join LIV, was an 80-1 chance ante-post. He beat Matthew Wolff and Dustin Johnson by two shots.

This week there are three tournaments for punters to consider - the Cazoo Open, the Wyndham Championship and the Women's British Open. Thorbjorn Olesen is among the biggest names in the Cazoo, while Will Zalatoris has another go at shedding his PGA Tour maiden tag in the Wyndham.
