Story so far

The ISPS Handa Championship in Spain seemed a wide-open affair before a ball was struck - and it is still difficult to pick the likely champion with a day of play remaining.

The action from the Lakes Course, Tarragona, has suffered interruptions - flooding and lightning has caused suspensions - so a marathon Sunday lies in store for the leaders.

Halfway pacesetter, Scott Jamieson, leads by a shot. The ante-post 60-1 chance completed five holes of round three before Saturday's play was halted. The Scot is a general 3-1 to claim a second DP World Tour title.

Bernd Wiesberger and the Hojgaard brothers dominated the ante-post market. Wiesberger is tied for 25th place, six shots behind with three third-round holes to play. Nicolai Hojgaard is 67th, 11 adrift, while Rasmus Hojgaard is tied 15th, five off the pace through just six holes of round three.

Leaderboard
-11 Scott Jamieson (through 41 holes)
-10 Aaron Cockerill (54)
-8 Andrew Wilson (51), Pablo Larrazabal (45), Jack Senior (44), Hennie Du Plessis (44), David Law (42), Johannes Veerman (42), Tapio Pulkkanen (41), Adrian Otaegui (41)

Best prices
3 S Jamieson, 15-2 A Otaegui, 17-2 J Veerman, 9 P Larrazabal, 12 H Du Plessis, R Hojgaard, 14 D Law, 14 T Pulkkanen, 16 A Cockerill, J Senior, 18 A Rozner, 25 bar

Final-round preview

Scott Jamieson's only victory at this level came in a weather-shortened, 36-hole, 2013 Nelson Mandela Championship. A lack of killer instinct in contention has denied this likeable 38-year-old Glaswegian any further glory.

The pacesetter holds no appeal at just 3-1 with such a long way to go - and a sunny, breezy denouement forecast. DP World Tour maiden Aaron Cockerill, alone in second place, is an equally unattractive option.

The list of potential investments is long, though, and punters have every right to be considering Pablo Larrazabal (9-1), David Law (14-1), Johannes Veerman (17-2), Tapio Pulkkanen (14-1), Adrian Otaegui (15-2), Rasmus Hojgaard (12-1) and others.

Law has some old winning form at a track he clearly relishes, Veerman seems to be finding his feet after a slow start to the year, Pulkkanen used to have this track as a practice base as a junior, while Otaegui is enjoying a home mission on a course which suits.
Larrazabal and Hojgaard are the most eyecatching runners of all, though, and both can be backed each-way with four places still freely available.

Larrazabal, who claimed a sixth DP World Tour title with a victory in South Africa last month, seems to be loving the challenge of the Lakes this week - and a sunny, breezy Sunday provides the perfect assignment for the Spaniard to turn a three-shot deficit into the trophy. He has nine holes of round three to complete.

Hojgaard, with 12 holes of round three to play, knows that he has the birdie potential to quickly erode his five-shot deficit. The Danish youngster, sparkling on the PGA Tour of late, should set up a winning chance going into the final nine holes.

The tournament resumes at 8am local time (7am UK and Ireland) on Sunday. The final round should start around 11.30am local time (10.30am UK).
