The FedEx Cup playoffs continue this week with the BMW Championship at Medinah Country Club, Illinois, and Rory McIlroy is contesting favouritism with Brooks Koepka for leg two of the three-event series.

Patrick Reed, victorious in the Northern Trust on Sunday, is one of 70 qualifiers going to post for the BMW. Reed held his nerve to edge Abraham Ancer by a shot in New Jersey, moving to second in the FedEx Cup standings.

The top 30 after the BMW move on to the season-ending Tour Championship at East Lake, where the FedEx Cup leader will start the event with a two-shot lead.

The European Tour resumes this week with the Czech Masters in Prague, where Bernd Wiesberger and Eddie Pepperell are among the market leaders.
