Course overview

The course was designed by Ron Prichard and has hosted PGA Tour tournaments since 1989, although it undertook a radical redesign after the 2004 St Jude Classic, making it one of the toughest on the circuit.

The last St Jude Classic was held in 2018 and following three WGC-St Jude Invitationals between 2019 and 2021, the course hosted its first FedEx Cup playoff in 2022.

The fairways are of zoysia grass and it is a tight, fiddly track that should pose plenty of problems even for a strong field.

What will it take to win the FedEx St Jude Championship?

The tight nature of the course means that accuracy off the tee and strong approach play will be key. Finding greens in regulation is the passport to success and a hot putter can prove the difference in what is often a congested picture at the top of the leaderboard.
