Bernd Wiesberger and Shane Lowry, who lie first and third in the Race to Dubai standings, are seeking further points in the Turkish Airlines Open this week.

The European Tour Final Series starts in Turkey, with 70 runners going to post, then only 60 compete in the Nedbank Challenge in South Africa next week, before 50 tee off in the DP World Tour Championship Race to Dubai finale.

Jon Rahm, sandwiched between Wiesberger and Lowry in the Race to Dubai, is skipping the Turkish Airlines Open, so the Austrian and the Irishman have a great opportunity to put some distance between themselves and the Spaniard.

Former world number one Justin Rose is also in the Turkey line-up, but Rory McIlroy, the 6-1 winner of the WGC-HSBC Champions on Sunday, is taking the week off.

The PGA Tour returns next week with the Mayakoba Classic. Brendon Todd won the Bermuda Championship by four shots on Sunday, the outsider carding a final-round 62.
