Premiership & Pro14 preview
Worcester have lost six of their last seven Premiership matches but they still look worth a wager getting a six-point start from fourth-placed visitors Northampton.
The Warriors have beaten Leicester, Sale and London Irish in the league at Sixways this season, and they have also claimed losing bonus points from leaders Exeter, Wasps and Bath. Their 30-26 reverse to Wasps is one of four straight defeats by six or fewer points.
Saints themselves are on a run of four Premiership losses in a row, three of them at home, and injuries and Six Nations call-ups have affected their discipline and structures.
Their away league wins at Saracens and Wasps were both by narrow margins and they lost on trips to Bath, Sale and Exeter.
Worcester lead 9-6 at the break in round two at Franklin's Gardens before Northampton powered away to victory. They are less likely to be overrun in front of their own fans.
In the non-televised match, South Africa World Cup-winners Faf de Klerk and Lood de Jager are on the Sale bench against London Irish. Lock De Jager will be making his Sharks debut.
Dragons with a two-point start at home to Benetton looks the best bet in this weekend’s sole Pro14 fixture.
The Dragons edged out the Cheetahs 13-10 at Rodney Parade on Saturday and they have also enjoyed Newport wins over Ospreys, Scarlets and Glasgow.
Benetton have been beaten on the road at Cardiff, Scarlets, Ospreys and Connacht, scraping their only away win against Italian rivals Zebre.
