Harrogate v Colchester

The end of regular EFL season is less than two months away but more than half of the teams in League Two are still in the promotion race, including 11th-placed Harrogate who can boost their playoff push with a home victory over struggling Colchester.

Simon Weaver's side are having a decent first season in the Football League but they would have felt disappointed after Saturday's 1-0 loss at Stevenage which they dominated for long spells.

The loss ended a sequence of three successive victories but Harrogate are only six points outside of the top seven and have a great opportunity to bounce back against Colchester, who have been in freefall for the last few months.

The Essex outfit were in the playoff places in December but have won just one of their last 16 games to lie only seven points above the drop zone.

They have triumphed once in 16 away league matches this season and may not offer much resistance in Yorkshire.

Charlton v Northampton

Northampton have climbed from last place in League One to 19th in a week after back-to-back victories and their revival can continue at Charlton where they look value to take at least a point.

The Cobblers are playing a more attacking style under caretaker manager Jon Brady, who replaced Keith Curle last month, and the players seem to be enjoying it.

Northampton finished February without a win in eight games but there were encouraging signs in their 0-0 draw at Ipswich and 4-3 loss at MK Dons which could easily have yielded victories.

Improved performances have translated into better results in March with the Cobblers securing impressive home wins over Plymouth (2-0) and Portsmouth (4-1).

Brady's side will feel they can give any third-tier side a decent game now and they can compete on fairly evens terms with playoff-chasing Charlton, who have won just one of their last six games.

The Addicks haven't won at the Valley in their last eight attempts and their stuttering promotion push could be dealt another major blow.

Newport v Bradford

Newport are hoping that a temporary switch of venue from Rodney Parade to the Cardiff City Stadium - where they have been granted permission to play their next two home games - will assist their League Two promotion push, but they may struggle to get the better of Bradford.

Exiles' manager Michael Flynn is hoping that a better playing surface can help his team, who are playing a more possession-based style than they were last season.

But Bradford should also enjoy playing on a decent pitch and will fancy their chances of chalking up a sixth win in seven games.
