Wolves 1-3 Liverpool

Wolves have got their act together since losing their opening three games but Liverpool have scored 43 goals in 14 games this season and are likely to be difficult to stop.

Southampton 1-1 Brighton

Brighton gained a deserved draw at West Ham on Wednesday but they may have to settle for a share of the spoils against the Saints, who have lost one of their last seven at home, but drawn four of those matches.

Newcastle 1-2 Burnley

The Magpies are still looking for their first victory of the season and while they are capable of scoring goals, their defence cannot be relied upon. Expect Burnley to trouble them in a key relegation clash.

Cardiff 1-1 Sheffield United

These two improvers could be hard to separate with Cardiff winning three of their last four and Sheffield United losing one of their last five. A draw would not be a surprise in south Wales.

Blackburn 2-1 Preston

Another Championship game where the teams are difficult to split. Preston have won at Middlesbrough and Bournemouth recently, but leaders Fulham are the only team to have beaten Rovers at Ewood Park in their last eight, so Blackburn may just hold the edge.

Barnsley 0-2 Huddersfield

Barnsley are in deep relegation trouble after missing out in the Championship playoffs last season. They have lost five of their last six home matches and although Huddersfield have suffered a couple of defeats lately, they can bounce back at Oakwell.
