Nicky Maynard spearheads Bury's late push for the Sky Bet League Two title
Shakers have upped the pressure on league leaders Lincoln
Five draws in six matches in January and February caused Lincoln backers to sweat and, although the Imps have stabilised with three successive wins, they should be wary of in-form Bury.
The Shakers have taken 30 points from a possible 36 in 2019 and a 32-year-old striker with a wealth of EFL experience has been central to their late push for the title.
Nicky Maynard, formerly of Bristol City and MK Dons, is second in the Sky Bet League Two scoring charts with 18 goals, having taken the goalscoring burden off forward-thinking midfielder Jay O'Shea.
Maynard has notched 24 per cent of Bury's goals this term and has five strikes in his last four starts.
The forward's deal was due to last until January when he signed in September but Bury extended his contract to the end of the season with the chance of a further year's extension and they will surely look to take up that option.
